Guest Visiting Frequently Asked Questions
Can I just drop in and meet everyone?
While we are very warm and welcoming to visitors, we highly encourage you to contact us through the contact form on our homepage or at the bottom of this page. Providing a quick introduction will help us prepare for your visit and allow us to inform you of our current schedule.
What should I expect on my first visit?
Feel free to introduce yourself when you arrive! We'll introduce ourselves, discuss your knowledge of Schutzhund, and learn about your goals. We’re here to answer any questions you have about the sport or our training methods. If you bring your dog we likely will start with play, and see a bit of what you have been doing with them on your own. If you'd like to bring your dog on your first visit, please make sure you are familiar with the requirements listed below.
What’s required to bring my dog?
Your dog must be controllable around strangers and other dogs. We require that everyone visiting with a dog has a kennel in their vehicle. This helps us limit the number of dogs out at any given time, while also ensuring that you can have windows or doors open to keep your dog safe, cool, and comfortable.
How much does the club cost?
For those bringing a dog to train, we offer a drop-in day pass for $25. On your first visit, we require the purchase of two day passes in advance ($50 total), which covers your first two visits. During these sessions, we will evaluate your dog and introduce our training techniques. If our club is a good fit, and you decide to join us as a provisional member, membership is $50 a month.
