Exciting 2024 Fall Trial Schedule Ahead!
We're delighted to announce two upcoming Fall Trials! In partnership with High Altitude, we look forward to hosting and sharing the Schutzhund sport with our community.
Similar to last year, our co-hosted fall trials will be an AWMA trial under an FCI judge. We want to emphasize that our DVG club, along with all other DVG participants, are welcomed and encouraged to compete.
Our first trial is set for September 29th. We are pleased to have Gerardo Heredia join us again to judge at our club. To help participants prepare, we invite you to train with us on our field on September 22nd, which is open to all trial entrants.
Then, seven weeks later, join us again on November 16th and 17th (or just the 17th, depending on the number of participants), for our second trial. This event will be judged by the well-known Dave Kroyer. As with our September trial, we will be extending an open training session the Sunday prior to the trial (November 10th) for trial participants registered to compete.
** UPDATE: High Altitude has decided to cancel our November trial. Our next trial will be in 2025, likely in the spring.
We extend a warm invitation to DVG members and anyone eligible to trial under an FCI judge. If you're interested in participating, please secure your spot by contacting us at frontrangehundesportcolorado+info@gmail.com. Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, we hope you will join us to celebrate our dedication to the sport.
Spectating is free, making these events a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in watching or learning more about Schutzhund. This is your chance to witness some impressive dogs and the extraordinary relationship between handler and dog firsthand.
Mark your calendars, share the trial dates with friends and family, and consider being part of one or both unforgettable trials this fall. If you would like to compete with your dog in one of our trials, please reach out to us at frontrangehundesportcolorado+info@gmail.com. We look forward to fostering and sharing in the camaraderie that makes our sport so special. See you there!
