Reflecting on a Successful 2024 Spring Trial
As the dust settles on our recently concluded Spring Trial, we at Front Range Hundesport are filled with gratitude and pride for the incredible turnout and performance we witnessed, despite the challenges posed by an unexpectedly warm day. Our proactive decision to start the trial early ensured that both dogs and handlers could perform their best in comfortable conditions.
Our trial was a remarkable success, showcasing the skills of 5 IGP dogs from both IGP 2 and IGP 3 levels. Additionally, we had 5 dogs testing for their BH, four of whom were from outside our club. It’s thrilling to see our community growing as we welcome participants from various clubs and backgrounds. It was equally exciting to see the diverse range of dog breeds represented.
A special thank you to James Akin-Otiko, our judge, who upheld the highest standards of fairness and professionalism. His feedback was not only insightful but also encouraging, supporting all handlers and their dogs throughout the event, regardless of the outcome.
We are immensely thankful to everyone who played a part in this event's success—our competitors and our dedicated club members. It’s your effort and spirit that transform these trials from mere competitions into opportunities for learning, camaraderie, and growth.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce our upcoming Fall trial, likely scheduled for early October, in collaboration once again with High Altitude. Details will be confirmed and shared soon, and we hope to continue the tradition of excellence and community spirit.
Thank you all once again for a fantastic trial, and let's keep striving for excellence together!
